Adult ADHD
Clarity ADHD specializes in the evaluation, diagnosis, and medication management of ADHD in adults. That includes adults who were diagnosed as children and need better-optimized treatment, adults who suspect ADHD but were never evaluated, and adults whose previous diagnosis never quite fit. Our six-week program combines a comprehensive evaluation, FDA-cleared QbTest testing, and systematic medication trials to find what actually works for your brain.
What often comes along with ADHD
ADHD rarely travels alone. Many adults with ADHD also experience depression, anxiety, insomnia, or patterns that look like OCD. Untangling them matters, because treating one without accounting for the others rarely works well.
Anxiety can be a lifelong companion of unmanaged ADHD. Low mood can follow years of underachievement and self-blame. Sleep problems are common when an ADHD brain won't power down at night, and poor sleep makes every ADHD symptom worse the next day. Some rigid routines and checking behaviors that look like OCD are actually compensations built to manage ADHD. And some "treatment-resistant" depression or anxiety improves substantially once the underlying ADHD is properly addressed.
Your evaluation at Clarity ADHD screens for these co-occurring conditions as a standard part of the process, and your medication plan can address them alongside ADHD. When a condition is better served by a higher level of care, such as complex mood disorders or conditions requiring therapy or crisis services, we'll say so directly and help coordinate a referral.
What we don't treat
Clarity ADHD provides psychiatric evaluation and medication management only, for adults 18 and older in Washington State. We do not provide therapy, crisis, or emergency services. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, call or text 988 (Suicide and Crisis Lifeline) or call 911. For therapy, we're happy to coordinate care with your existing therapist or provide referrals.
